TEACHER-STUDENT Relationships???

What is your opinion on a teacher-student relationship, given these guidelines:

a) The teacher does not currently or has never taught the student in question (therefore eliminating the problem of 'biased grades')

b) If the student is of legal age (so 18 years of age, in most places)

c) They agree not to pursue a relationship until after the student has graduated from the institute from which the teacher is employed?

I am just asking to see what people's take on this is, since although it eliminates most of the ethic/age issues, many feel that it is still considered a teacher-student relationship regardless of these problems being solved (or at least lessened or thought out). Thanks! Just looking to see what everyone thinks. Let me know why you still think it's wrong, if so. And whether or not you'd change your answer if those further problems could somehow be fixed.

TEACHER-STUDENT Relationships???
Given those guidelines, then it really wouldn't be a Teacher-Student relationship, it would be a normal relationship with an age difference.
Reply:Miss Cunningstunt, I did real well on the exam. What do I get for a prize? =D
Reply:depends on the age of the teacher of course. but in most all cases--- inappropriate
Reply:Crazy sexy.
Reply:Based on those guidelines, I'd say go for it. You wouldnt be doing any harm.
Reply:If that's the situation then I don't see anything wrong with it. But I'm sure someone else is going to tell u that it's unethical. Probably because of the basis of age. But I think that's a good move to not pursue anything until the student graduates.
Reply:Wrong, any way you say it, anything you do to it, it's just plain WRONG!!!
Reply:If the student is at another school and that the teacher is under 25 years of age I don't think it's a problem, but if the teacher is employed at the same school the student attends I think it's wrong.
Reply:I wouldn't have a problem with it. What a person does after high school is thier business.
Reply:love is love.

let people love who they want!

I see nothing wrong with it.
Reply:There is nothing wrong with it given those guidelines. Nothing at all.
