Student loan interest?

i have federal and private student loans. i listed them all when i did my federal taxes, and now i'm working on my state taxes (indiana and kansas because i moved). on the state taxes, it asks if i have and student loan interest to deduct.

did i do this wrong? do i only list federal student loan interest in federal taxes and then private ones on state? my private loans are based in pennsylvania (where i'm originally from).

help!!

p.s. i'm filing on H%26amp;R Block's website

Student loan interest?
Yes that's advisable to list your loan accordingly. However, when you have moved to the different state so that would make no difference. Check http://www.studentloaninfo.org/index.htm... for further info on student loans
Reply:No, you list all the intereste from your student loans on the tax form as well. Just like you did on the federal form.
