Does anybody know the minimum age that a person can be to get a Student Work Permit? I don't know if it changes with states, but if it does I live in California. Also, are there only certain jobs that will allow a student to work there, or do most jobs allow students to work? Thank you in advance.
Student Work Permit?
I believe you have to be 15 1/2 or 16 years to work in California. Most jobs (except with heavy machinery) should let you work at 16, although most people at that age get a job at a fast food restaurant.
