If a student registered for exp. cellular and molecular bio 430.. and the prereq said "chem 201" which the student never took... and he was able to register, who's at fault?? student or system??
also.. student has a 3.8 GPA..

The student. There's no practical way for an online system to cross-check every individual transcript, or for the registrars to memorize the requirements or double-check them without every registration taking half an hour. At some schools, an adviser in the department's supposed to sign off on your selections, but it's your responsibility to know what you need.
Reply:its the students responsablity to make sure they are takeing the right classed they have preregs. for a reason they arent as sympothedic in collage as they are hight school
