University of leeds Mature student question?

I'm wanting to go to university in leeds as a mature student. I've heared that mature students normally study from home or something and not actually attend the university like normal students is this true? If so i would find this offputting as i would really enjoy the social aspect of studying and living there and also find it alot more motivating to be around other people aswel instead of sat at home on my own in silence. also can mature students get a student loan?..i guess basically what i'm asking is do mature students have the exact same treatment as if they were a normal person leaving college and going to uni? Also if they take ppl on in sept, will i be ok to apply now?

University of leeds Mature student question?
In regard to deadlines, you need to check with the university. In regard to loans you need to check with the relevant government office.

Mature students are normally treated the same as any other kinds of students. You seem to be confusing mature students with Open University students (but even they don't study at home all the time).

Hope it works out!
