OmG HOW COULD MY TEACHER DO CHOKE A STUDENT???

PLZ star this I need MORE answers then the last question

OMG I'm scared of him now!!

My teacher gives us the privilage of listening to our ipods.

And this student had the music on too loud, so the teacher asked him to lower it, and te student said no.

Then the teacher said "either take off the headphones or give me the IPOD sir."

Then the student still refused, so the teacher went over to the students seat to get the IPOD.

Still student refuses, and so THE TEACHER GRABS HIM BY THE NECK WHILE THE STUDENT IS SITTING AND YANKED THE STUDENT UP TO STAND AND THE THE TEACHER PUSHED HIM TOO THE WALL, AND THEN THE TEACHER GOT HIM IN A HEAD LOCK.

I'm feeling bad for our teacher because he has to put up with 400 students attidudes and he just had a brake down. And the student should have just obeyed our teacher.

Then again he has no right to grab him by the neck.

Who's side are you on. Aye dios mio!

OmG HOW COULD MY TEACHER DO CHOKE A STUDENT???
REPORT THAT TEACHER.

He has NO right to put his hands on a student.
Reply:I answered the last time.
Reply:Teachers side !

young people today ?

Haven't got a clue what there in for !
Reply:I'm on the kid's side!!! How dare that teacher? That is abusement and illegal. Also it is his Ipod, I think he is still should listen to it. SEND THE TEACHER TO COURT.
Reply:Yah too bad...On one side, I think the student should have obeyed to his teacher but on the other side, I guess teacher does not have any right to treat him this way.

For me, this isn't anything new. In India, the teachers are eligable to give punishments to the students the way they want. Including use of hand or any thick wood stick.

(I am one of that poor student :(, when I was very little kid, I was also bitten by thick wood stick on my palm..let's say that was very normal punishment)

But anyway I think if we are the students then we should respect to our teachers and obey their rules as well.
Reply:You need to report the teacher! I got picked up by a teacher by the neck off of my feet and then hit on my face. Looking back I wish I'd went right to the principle and reported it. Teachers can't lay a hand on students, and whether it's physical abuse as in choking or sexual abuse doesn't matter. Don't let your teacher get away with that!
Reply:Wow! This teacher should be a professional wrestler instead. He chose the wrong career!
Reply:they are both out of line. i would have just kicked the kid out of class or failed him.
Reply:wow, that sounds... unreal. i would be freaked out too. im definatley not on the teachers side, he could definatley have just called the vp in or something, or kicked the kid of class, but doing that to a student is a no no. did anybody tell the principal?

good luck =/
Reply:idk volience is never the answer
Reply:WOW! id SUE thats OMG!
Reply:While the student was extremely disrespectful and took advantage of the desired privelege of listening to his iPod, the teacher did in fact overreact. He should have took control of the situation in a more mature, calm manner. I think that may be illegal, so you may want to call your principal.
Reply:A teacher, regardless of whether he has 4 students or 1,000 students, should NEVER lay a finger on a student! If the student refused to put the iPod away, he should have just sent him to the office for the principal to deal with! And in a headlock? Tell the principal! That is not right! A teacher has absolutely NO right to do that! Not only is it not right, but what would've happened if he had injured the student?

I feel sorry for the student, although I do agree in that it was partially their fault for not listening to the teacher when asked kindly by the teacher.
Reply:i hope he was fired he cant touch the students
Reply:If the student didn't report it, you should. Are you in the US, if so, that wouldn't be tolerated for long. So, why is this teacher handling 400 students at one time anyways?
Reply:I was taught that the teacher is always right. We always showed respect. Things weren't so crazy back in the 60's %26amp; 70's.
Reply:It's illegal. If you are minors that's child abuse, if you are adults it is assault.

IF he has that short of a fuse he has no right being a teacher. Teachers have to be able to handle stress.

He needs to be fired and spend a bit of time behind the bars
Reply:under no circumstances does a teacher have the right to put his/her hands on a student. I hope and pray not only is he fired, but he's charged with assault and battery.
Reply:hmm..

My dad told me that this lady named Goone, she lived down here in texas, was a teacher and she taught likt, 7th grade or something, and my dad was like

"Lauren, did you know Mrs. Goone was real?" and it was because my parents threatened to send me to her house when i was bad but she ended up being real!

"No, how do you know? I always thought she was fake?"

"Nah, she was a teacher of one of my friends. He told me that one time one of her students wouldn't stop talking so she took duct tape and taped his mouth shut, then pulled his chair into the corner and taped his chair to the ground so he couldn't get up or talk" he told me.

I sat there and was like, OH MY GOSH, NO FREAKING WAY.

and yeah, she got fired and got her liscense taken away. Supposably she still thinks shes a teacher and goes and stands out in front of that school every day. haha

He'll probably get layed off or something.
Reply:100% on the students side. THe teacher should of took the situation calmly and not go crazy and attack the student. Teachers aren't suppose to attack students!!!!!!

and yeah he could get fired.
Reply:im on the students side, if he cant handle that many students he needs to work some where else he better be glad the boy he choked wasnt my son because i would have put him in his place....what did his parents do about it? if you wanna get me really mad....do something to one of my children...if i was his parents i wouldent stop until he paid for it.
Reply:The parents side .Having school aged children myself.I understand the teachers frustration but you can not do that kinda crap.
Reply:report that teacher asap.

no matter how stressed a person gets, they do NOT have the right to inflict harm on another.
Reply:I'm on the student's side.

The teacher should totally be fired!
Reply:The student obviously has no respect for authority. Good thing he wasn't that way with the PD. I can see how this spiteful disrespect towards the teacher would make him angry, but a chokehold is a bit extreme. They are both at fault here but naturally the Teacher will be slammed the hardest.
Reply:The teacher will be lucky if he doesn't get sued and/or fired.
Reply:The teacher shouldn't be allowed to do that.
Reply:call the sheriff an report the crime.
Reply:I dont care wht that kid did he had no right to do what he did
Reply:im on your side! he is a very bad teacher, he shouldnt have allowed the use of ipods in the class in the first place!
Reply:That poor kid

I am not with that teacher
