it's farce. whether it's PNB, SBI or any PSU banks in any place in INDIA they are making mockery of the terms and conditions for granting so called student loan. as per policy a student loan below 4.5 lakhs the student need no colateral. one sees stupid advertisement whereas somebody is to swallow green chillies for not knowing the loan terms . on ground my present banker , PNB refused to progress application for my daughter on the issue of domicile when i was posted to Meerut. and it is just delaying when i am posted to Sec'bad with my daughter studying at sec'bad in a reputed Engg COLLEGE.
There is a need to expose the errand bank managers who are not only biased but helping the people and their children who are wealthy and filthy rich. A question from a MP ( BC/OBC ) shall be in order urging the govt to put on the table the info who are actually getting the lloan and how actual people are being denied.
