Student Loans?

Back in 2003, I was in default on my student loans. Well, I decided to do something about it and went into the rehab program. I have since been on track with my student loan payment (making payments on time etc.). My questions are will the past default status be removed from my credit report? Also have any of you ever dealt with the student loan ombudsman on an issue similar or like this one.

Student Loans?
The default can be there for up to seven years, but if a company sees you have overcome that and are current and making good payments they will take it less into consideration usually.

Reply:If you have lates on you credit report, the lender can remove the lates. You either have to write them or call them and ask for them to remove the lates. You can always try www.planetfeedback.com and write a complain asking for the lates to be removed.
