STUDENT COUNCIL SPEECH help!!?

I need some help on student council speech? i will only read and take ideas, i wont completely copy?

What Ideas do you have for positive change

What do you think are the biggest issues that need to be addressed by our student council?

What are the responsibilities of student council members?

If you were elected, what would you do to support a strong student voice ?

How will you make compromises to represent the needs of all students

What “needs improvement” , and what will you do to ensure it is done?

We all have strengths and weaknesses. Please share one of your weaknesses and tell us how you plan to overcome those weaknesses to become a very effective Student Council representative?

STUDENT COUNCIL SPEECH help!!?
It's pretty hard to tell you how to answer these questions as they all apply to your school or yourself. And since I'm neither, I don't know what any of the answers really would be. But here are tips on how to answer them in your speech:

1. State something in your school that needs improvement.

2. State what you think the responsibilites are of a student council member, in your own words. Don't just say the usual stuff - try to be fun.

3. Say that you would work hard to ________. (Something you would do as student council member).

4. If you are good at making compromises, say that. Then share an example in which you could come up with a compromise.

5. State something about your school that needs improvement and offer an intresting/original solution.

6. This is one that you would know of yourself. Share a weakness and how you will overcome it to become a great student council member.

Remember - No one wants to hear the usual boring speech. Make your speech interesting and original. If you're good at writing poems, make your speech into a poem. A few people did that at our school and it was fun. Make it be something fun, but honest. Don't over-exaggerate or promise anything you can't do. Show yourself as someone who will listen to your student body.

Good Luck! =D
Reply:well first thing first... be honest dont make promises you cant follow through on,,, i dont know what your school is like or what needs to be fixed but just ask people around you or sit and listen to kids talk. someone will mention their conserns with the school. nomatter what school it is it will obviously not just through out money so maybe through out the idea of a dance of a fun night at your school and all the money raised by it will go tward an important issue at your school. point out that you dont know what the future holds but youll do the best you can to try to make it a positive one for your school... and take whatever you want from this, its cool.

good luck!!!
Reply:I would suggest a quote from a very famous person. Ex: "It's not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." - JFK
