I am a college student who took a summer calculus class?

Here are two students grades and their weights. Please tell me what grade should be given to Student A and Student B. An A is 94-100, A- is 90-93, B+ is 87-89.

Weights:

Quiz: 25%

Test 1: 10%

Test 2: 15%

HW (total): 15%

Final Exam: 35%

Student A Scores:

Quiz: 100%

Test 1: 76%

Test 2: 90%

HW (total): 56%

Final Exam: 94%

Student B Scores:

Quiz: 90%

Test 1: 76%

Test 2: 88.75%

HW (total): 93.8%

Final Exam: 88.5%

I am one of the students. I received a higher calculated grade than the other student, but the other student received a higher final grade which I believe is due to favoritism. Please let me know what you think or any advice. Thanks, everyone.

this is simple arithmetic...if you can't do this, you don't even qualify for a C in calculus

use the raw scores of the tests %26amp; quizzes, not the percent scores
Reply:I hate calculus. I also took Calc. over the summer and only got a D. I was too busy writing my novel (over 800 pages) about the devil causing the fall of Ancient Atlantis.
Reply:The only logical reason that I can think of is because of your lower scores on Test 2 and the Final.

Yeah, you got a much higher score in the homework field, but homework isn't really a true measure of what you know about the material. You received B's and C's on your exams...the other person received A's. Why is it so hard to understand?
